The law firm of Henry J. Applewhite, Attorney at Law, was established September 1, 1983 in Aberdeen, Mississippi as a General Practice where the firm over the years has handled many different kinds of cases and lawsuits, legal matters, and advice for individuals, families, governmental organizations, corporations, and non-profit entities. Although the firm continues today in the same location where it started, Mr. Applewhite now focuses on more limited civil law practice areas.


  1. Wills, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Directives, and related Estate Planning and Probate;
  2. Bankruptcy Creditor Rights and Bankruptcy Trustee practice; and
  3. Other Civil Practice including Personal Injury cases, Family Owned Businesses, and Governmental Entities. 

With legal experience over the years involving different circumstances, a broad range of clients, and different Courts, the firm’s goal is to provide straightforward and understandable advice and representation.

Mr. Applewhite and his staff continually strive to provide efficient, prompt, and personal service based on the unique needs and circumstances of each client. The geographic practice is concentrated in Monroe County and the surrounding counties in northeastern Mississippi.
